On April 18th we had a visit from Dr. Hans-Christian Bärtels, CFO & Vice-President of BMW-Korea.

BMW was founded on 1917 in Bayern, Germany. They make an automobiles and motorcycles. They have many employees all over the world.

First time in our class, Dr. Hans-Christian Bärtels, CFO and vice president of BMW Korea, make a presentation about BMW's new technology such as hybrid and BMW's new cars, i8 and i3 that are electric cars. End of the presentation, students had asked him various questions such as BMW's internship and hybrid technology.

Second time we made a presentation about BMW's history, product, and CSR. BMW have a long history. But BMW Korea has a short history than Headquarter. BMW Korea was established in 1995. And BMW Korea has a lot profit in Korea automobile market. BMW have made various products such as 1, 3, 5, 6, 7 Series and GT model and so on. Rolls-Royce and Mini are BMW' subsidiary. BMW Korea did a lot of activity, BMW Europe Management Center, BMW Apprentice Program. And they founded the BMW Korea Future Fund, a foundation, for the first time in Korea. They have rivals in Korea such as Mercedes Benz, Hyundai, KIA, Toyota and so on.
