Mando-Hella

Mando-Hella is a joint-venture between a Korean and a German car-electric company. The plant is located in Songdo, near our university. Mr. Markus Stehle showed us the factory and gave us some information about Mando-Hella.

Mando-Hella was made by Halla Grup, Mando, and Hella Group in German as a joint venture.

Mando-Hella is a company making auto-components and the sales record of Mando-Hella was 130.9 billion won, 1309억원 in korean, last year.

Let’s moving to the next which is the history of Mando-Hella.

In October, 2008, Mando-Hella was conluding joint venture agreement, and in the same year, Mando-Hella established in Mando-Hella in November.It was august in 2009 that the plants of Mando-Hella in Songdo was completed.And from 2010, it was starting mass-produce.

The next part that I will tell you is about product of Mando-Hella.

As I said before, Mando-Hella is a company making auto-components and the main products of the company are ECU, SENSOR, and DAS. ECU is a device that controlls brake or steering of vehicle. And Das is a device to assist drivers in driving and it means Driver Assistance System.

The last one that I am telling you is about competitors of Mando-Hella.

Mando-Hella is a local company focusing on only Korea. Therefore, the competitors of Mando-Hella are korean companies.

From now, I will introduce you a German company HELLA.

Hella develops and manufactures lighting technology and electronics products for the automotive industry, and operates one of the world’s largest aftermarket organizations for vehicle parts and accessories.
